Hi, wonderful angels. My name is Grace Cottingham. Sitting here at the moment in a little town, Eureka Springs, Arkansas, in the USA. Loving you from here with my words, my breath of love, with the motive of freedom, with the joy of a life you may have never lived, didn’t know you could live.
This is the School of One, where the word “one” takes on a whole new meaning. And the word “God” no longer causes us to quit being who we really are, waiting on another.
This is the school that redefines love, redefining God, redefining why you’re here. How many people on planet Earth have asked at some point in their life: “Who am I? Why am I here? Am I here to only live a life like a vapor, here a few years, work to make a living, pay the bills, and then die? Or is there more to the story?”
And I am here with joy in my veins this day, sharing with you a reason to live that you may have never had, that you’ve never thought about, that you never thought was possible. A reason to live, a reason to laugh, a reason to learn, a reason to change what you’re doing, knowing why you’re doing it. No longer admitting to being just a creation of something else that someone else made, that some superpower developed and then limited you to planet Earth, even at a time when we are beginning to realize the immensity of the cosmos, the lack of being limited by our molecules.
Isn’t it intriguing to think about living without being limited to your molecules, your flesh form? What if you could do anything you wanted to do, and money was not an issue? What if time is not an issue? Wow. What if gravity is not an issue, would you fly? Well, of course! Nothing would keep your feet planted on this ball of dust. Wow, what would you do then? Would you go heal the children? Stop the war? Or would you just want to go to a theme park and play?
My name is Grace Cottingham in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, USA. And I teach on YouTube, the channel is labeled The School of One. And I have a website, not like any other website on Earth, not because it’s so beautiful or powerful, but because on my website are more than 3,000 conversations that I have documented about you.
You see, we’ve been told all our lives about God. God on His throne, God being male-oriented, woman coming from the rib of a man. We’ve been told religious lies from the moment we first breathed air on this world. Most of the things we’ve probably been taught, we weren’t even aware that we were learning, because we just pick up on things. You see, you didn’t take a course in how to breathe. Probably never took a course on how to learn, but yet we learn. We learn through what we observe, we learn through what we feel, we learn through what we hear and what we see, and what we speak! Because sometimes we speak things that we didn’t know we knew. Wow.
I invite you to subscribe to this YouTube channel if you haven’t. My name’s Grace Cottingham, and I sit here today with you, thanking you for allowing me to share these moments with you. For my objective, my desire, my desire is to help make the impossible plausible. Where you begin to see yourself in a different light, where you begin to see yourself as light. Where you begin to see yourself not limited to your income, your boss, your marriage, your country, where you begin to see a new you.
So whatever you may picture an angel as, or a people of light, what they look like, I share with you the pictures that I have, that I’ve created. I desire for you to no longer be limited by the sight of your eyes.
I’m 75, 75 now. I’ve never heard anybody say, I’ve never heard anybody tell me, I’ve never read anything about why you are here like what has come through my mouth about you. You see, religions want you to be a good adherent. They want you to adhere to their mental framework. They want you to agree mentally with their mental framework. They teach what you call you: your mind. They teach your mind to be limited and little, and to classify people for the purpose of rejecting them so that you can condemn them. Now, they don’t say that up front, but that is the net result, is it not? You can answer yes or no. You can ponder that, for I bring you many ideas, I bring you many things for your conception. But you may not choose to conceive them—an idea, an answer, a possibility, an opportunity.
I suggest that you are here on Earth to be who you really are. And who you really are is not limited to your molecular form. You can choose who your creator is. May sound blasphemous, eh? Audacious, ludicrous! Or is the impossible now plausible because you have a different picture? You’re no longer living by somebody else’s words, when you begin to live by yours. When you begin to write the words in your native tongue, your language, your dialect, using your lexicon, your common diction and grammar, to speak, to speak about what? Why you’re here on Earth. “Why am I here? Who am I?” How many times have we thought about things related to that? My friend, I suggest that you are here to continue this.
You are here to no longer let your eyes fool you, nor your ears make you stumble, nor the words in any book plaster you to a theory where you live your life in chains. Chains that are stronger than steel! Stronger than the strongest titanium, whatever substance you want to use as an example. What is stronger than all that? Your belief. You’re not limited to the belief that other people have told you to believe. You’re here to create!
The last few days I’ve taught, and I’ve used this picture in three different panels, and it says: Connect, Collaborate, Create. My friend, if you think you’re created by God to worship God in a pew, you think you were created to listen to a preacher preach some three-point message that a lot of them get out of a book or just a service they subscribe to to get sermons, where they practice their oratory, you will never know the fulfillment of your privilege. Because you have the privilege, the privilege to continue creating this.
And friend, no one can limit your world. Not your husband, not your wife, not your children, not your bank account, not your pedigree, not your sorority sisters and your fraternity brothers, your education or the lack of it, because of who you are.
And in time you begin to really know who you are, to know who you are, so that you are no longer caught up in the web of deceit, the immaculate deception I call it, thinking this reality is real and you can’t change it. My friend, you can change it.
You don’t have to remain limited to your molecules, nor the beliefs that you have believed all your life and maybe taught, like I did. I was a dedicated, devout Christian for a long time. And then I had a thought: “Is this all there is? There’s got to be more. There’s more to the story.” And I would hear the preacher preach and walk back and forth on this big stage in this big church. He was always so dressed to the nines, so articulate, so confident in his authority to speak for God. So much so, maybe his confidence undermined him. Maybe he just, you know, went too far. Maybe he enjoyed being arrogant. No, I don’t think that for a minute. I think he enjoyed appearing to be humble. But people’s motives sometimes are very, very, very, very, very different than what they say and teach.
So I began to question more and more what I was hearing. And I enjoyed learning, and I read. And I bought book after book after book after book about God, about life. I began to read—I remember I read a number of Chuck Swindoll writings, and I enjoyed listening to him. There was a time I listened to Andrew Wommack, Joyce Meyer. I spent, I guess, thousands of dollars on books.
One day I had an idea. Golly, how powerful sometimes an idea can be! An idea that begins to set something in motion, begins to change the course of your life. Sometimes an idea may change not just the direction you’re moving, but the compass! The very idea of your existence! Sometimes an idea may have unintended consequences. Good ones, sometimes not so good.
But then not only did I have a lot of thoughts where I began to question and wonder and ponder and study—I spent many hours investigating, exploring my Bible. And of course, in the midst of that, at the time I was married, had two young children, so all that was going on. And I was, you know, trying to make a living.
I had this idea. I had this idea… I don’t know whether I used the word ‘I need’, ‘I want’, but I thought, “You know, I want to decide what I believe.” Now that’s kind of an interesting thought, because of course you may think, “Of course you know what you believe, you can sit down and spit it out for an hour into a recorder and you believe this, that, and the other.” I thought, “No. No, I want to know what I believe.” And I don’t know why, I just had this idea of getting it down to like the fewest words possible, the most concise explanation, the most concise answer. What really… not what I say I believe, not what I converse with somebody else about a belief—what do I really believe?
And this went on for months. And I finally decided three things, and that changed the course of my life forever. The first one—and this was not automatic, this was over a period of months with a lot of self-introspection, contemplation, prayer, whatever you want to call it, over and over and over, multiple times, many times a day sometimes. And in the lexicon that was familiar to me that I operated with, I decided the first, the most foundational aspect of what I believe at that time, I simply said, again in my quest to make it concise, as few words as possible, I said: “God exists.”
And I questioned it for a while before I went to the next item, because I was after more than the words that I had listened to as I sat in a pew. I wanted to decide for me: What do I believe?
And so after a period of time, I kept whittling down the number of words in item two. Finally, the second item, after I said the first one was “God exists”, the second one I decided: “God is not mute.”
So you see, whether you want to call it cause and effect or not, but that further set into motion the increased momentum of exploration, because if I really, really, really, really, really, really believe God is not mute, why am I not hearing God every day? Where is the voice of God? If I ask for a fish, will God give me a stone? No. Did God love Abraham any more than me? Moses more than me? Peter, James, John? Jesus? God is not mute.
And of course so many times I thought in relation to the fact that I had two small children, the way so many preachers preach—charismatic, evangelical preachers preach—as if you can’t hear God. I don’t know, maybe they want to be the voice of God to you. They want to be seen. They want to be heard. They want to be important, I don’t know. There are so many things, you see, it’s really important for you to decide.
So when I began to think about God is not mute, God is not silent, and even though I had encountered some preachers of big churches tell me directly, “God does not talk to people today like He did in the Bible,” and of course they’re so full of their certainty that they don’t entertain any questions. So anyway, I decided the second thing was: God is not mute.
And then I sort of went in another direction for the third one. I decided, you know, I believe God exists. There is a higher power, there’s something, there’s more to the story than what’s visible. There’s more to the story than what’s being taught. And God is not mute. So I decided if there’s a God, and God is not mute, then that leads me to believe what God is, God communicates. And if I’m not hearing God, it’s not God’s fault.
So where am I? Where does that lead me? Right back to me.
And how many times have I mentioned, I’ve thought so many times about… I’ve mentioned I went to Oral Roberts University for my MBA. And during that time I heard Kathryn Kuhlman speak. She only came while I was a student, one time, and she preached basically what I call a one-point message, a question: “Will you pay the price?” And so many times I thought about that message, and so many times when I was deciding, “What do I really believe? If I believe God exists, and I believe God is not mute, and if I’m not hearing, it’s not God’s fault, then I will pay the price.”
And I said so! So many, many, many times, I began to pray like that. I began to cry out: “I will pay the price! I don’t know what the price is, but I want to know You in the power, the power of Your resurrection, and, and, and inextricably, the fellowship of Your sufferings.” And this began to lead me on a path that I never could have imagined.
I never sought to understand the unknowable. I wasn’t seeking to make the impossible plausible. I was just simply a common Christian guy with a wife and two kids in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
And I’ve mentioned several times, oh, even about a month ago, you know… And again, it doesn’t matter the name of the person that I speak of, it doesn’t… I just happened at that moment, there was a lot of publicity. Bill Clinton had put out a book. And I just had this little, simple, silly idea. I thought, “You know, I guess I could read that big book. I could buy it, I could read it, and I’d know a lot about him. But I’d rather just go over to his house and knock on the door. I’d rather sit down at his table.”
And of course, you can see the relationship. I was at a point in my life I didn’t want to know *about* God. I didn’t want to know about, about, about! People teaching me more and more and more and more *about* God? No. I wanted to touch His face, feel His whiskers.
And I began to have a lot of other little silly ideas. Silly ideas that affected the way that I thought, affected my motivation.
In October of 1988, Gene somebody—I forget his last name—they called him a prophet from Texas. They had him up for meetings annually for several years, and he would come. But in October of ’88 while he was there, one Saturday morning that church had what they call a men’s meeting, men’s breakfast. And afterward, he taught a while. I don’t remember a thing he said, except before I left, he was talking to another man, a friend of mine there, and he spoke about… he just said the most simple little phrase almost offhandedly, he said: “If you’ll pray an hour a day, it’ll change your life. An hour a day.”
So in October of ’88, I thought… a thought, a thought! Just a thought! I thought, “I’m going to do that. I’m going to find out! I’m going to find out if that’s true.” And I began. I remember. So I did, I immediately started going. They called it early morning prayer 5 days a week, 6:30 to 7:30 AM at a chapel. That church wasn’t far from where I lived, and I started going there.
And that was at a time, talk about searching. I became so increasingly aware that there’s more to the story, and that I wasn’t aware of it. I didn’t know. I don’t think I even knew how to pray, but I began to learn. I began to communicate, I began to talk, I began to open my mouth. And I don’t know a better way to say it: I began to learn to pour out me, verbally, to what I called God at the time.
And I began even at times to talk about my pain. And I would talk to God about things I don’t understand: “God, I don’t understand my wife. I don’t understand what I’m dealing with, God.” And many times I would cry. I would walk into that little chapel and simply walk up behind the last pew and kneel down. And over and over I would say, “I know You exist, I know You hear me, and I know You care. I know You care.”
And so, you see, there was a foundation that led me to where I am now.
Back then, if you had asked me what the New Covenant was, I would just probably have stumbled around and given you a non-answer.
I am alive to be able to tell you, to share with you: there’s more to the story for you.
I share with you, I say in no uncertain terms: every miracle that Jesus did, you can do. This is 321 pages in a book that I wrote, *Jesus the Pattern*, over a 10-year period.
The cover picture is intentional. The cover picture does not denote gender. The cover picture denotes you, no matter what you think your molecules look like or exist as. And that light inside the skull is the light, the light of the world, the light of your world, the light of your creation, the center of your consciousness.
There’s more to the story than what all the religions of the world have given us. I suggest to you, you can answer who are you and why are you here. You are here to continue creating creation, because you’re a creator.
And if you won’t stultify, if you won’t barricade your mind by the walls of religion and the definitions that other people want to give you, you can begin to go where no man has gone. The cosmos is not off limits to you.
I’m sharing with you about a race of light people, that you have the opportunity to be one, a light person, a being of light, whether you call it an angel or not.
If you don’t know who you are, if you don’t know your opportunity, you may squander it. And I don’t want you to live in the squalor of Earth. I don’t want you to live in the pigpen, the vomit of other people’s words, where you live in their definitions and their constraint, them giving you your reality, so that you experience a life that you think you’re living.
Something I realized this morning as I sat in my big white chair over there with my coffee cup, enjoying my Guatemalan coffee… Wow.
I mentioned October of ’88 I decided to go to early morning prayer. And time-wise, there are many, of course, many things I can say that I will leave for later. But I’ve mentioned in March of 2003, what I called God communicated with me with simply a thought. You see, let’s get away from the idea of the voice of God where you’re listening for a voice, a voice, a voice, and you say, “Well, I never hear a voice!” But you hear thoughts all the time! You register thoughts. And you speak them. You hear them, you speak them, you hear them, you speak them, you interact with them. Sometimes you massage them, sometimes they massage you.
My friend… I’ve mentioned March of 2003 so many times, so I’m not going to tell all those details again. But God, God clearly said to me: “Will you give me your morning? Will you give me your mornings?”
And I mean, there was a visceral response, let me tell you. I was standing up there in McBirney Chapel, First Methodist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. You can still go there. “Will you give me your mornings?” I mean, I put my hand on my forehead and thought, “Oh! That will affect my income. I mean, that will affect everything!” And literally, I went and lay down on the front pew. I mean, that’s how it affected me. It’s like, this is, you know, this is no trivial moment in my life.
And I knew it. And I was even afraid to respond, and I told that even a few days ago. So I didn’t answer verbally. I was afraid to. You know, that was back when I thought it’s a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God, etc.
I didn’t know what was in store for me. I didn’t know that I was being invited to the King’s table. I had no idea that I was about to embark on a journey that would not even limit me to the stars or this cosmos. I never dreamed that I would sit with an angel, an invisible entity that would communicate with me telepathically, converse, interact, give me new words, create new words, funny words like “meonics”. Can you imagine sitting with the invisible entity that communicates with you telepathically? Are you willing? If you’re not willing, I’m not the right school for you. I’m not your God, your guide, your guru. I’m just an old guy in Eureka Springs for the moment.
Sharing with you: You have the opportunity for a journey that nobody else can control. A journey! Is your name Abraham? Sally? Susie? Bobby Joe? Christopher?
Are you willing to see more to the story, and not be limited to your molecular existence that seems so real?
I’m sharing with you, when you begin to know who you are, you will no longer be fooled by those who are so arrogant and so certain that they have the truth. You see, your truth, *your* truth is important to you. Your truth is not my truth. And it’s imperative for you to begin to establish *your* truth, rather than living the truth of your preacher, your priest, your pastor, your parent. You are responsible for you, as the creator of you, and I’m sharing with you: there’s more to the story.
So I’ve talked about how I began to write almost every day, and how there are over 3,000—maybe I should just say 300, maybe 3,000 you can’t get your arms around—there’s over 3,000 documents, conversations, teachings, where what I called God began to teach me directly from within. From within, what does that mean? Telepathically. I didn’t hear a voice. And I have all of these communications that you can learn from, where you can begin to do the same thing. Because this is not just for me, this is not just about me. It’s about you. It’s about us.
Well, you know, if you are not curious, I can’t help you. I was thinking, again in my big white chair, I graduated from the University of South Carolina in Columbia. And while I was there, I took a course in calculus. And honestly, I loved it! I loved it. It was hard, I had to work in that course. And the professor, he was kind of challenging. He taught so fast, he wrote on the blackboard so fast! Even when he erased the blackboard, his very movements—I mean, he was like this Energizer Bunny or something. It was like, you know, so hard. But I really liked it.
For some odd reason, this morning when I was thinking about that, I began to think about when I took advanced accounting at the University of Tulsa. This was after I got my MBA, and I went to night school because Williams Company paid for it and I was working at Williams Company. So I decided to take advantage of that opportunity to learn. And I took a course in advanced accounting, Accounting 301 at the time. And the professor I had was named Sellers. I’ve only mentioned… I have mentioned this a time or two. I’ve never had a professor like Sellers. I can’t tell you exactly how and why, but he was the best professor I ever had, by far and away, in a class by himself, a league! I began to go to class and experience this man and his teaching, his words and his mannerisms and the way he dealt with everybody and asked questions and answered questions. And I began to feel like I didn’t want to go to class unprepared. I don’t think I had ever had that kind of feeling. I mean, he was the most motivating… he made everything real in a way to understand it.
He was very different than the first economics class that I went to at the University of South Carolina, where I walked in this big auditorium and there were about 300 students. And this gruff guy gets up and he says, “I’m so-and-so, this is the book, I wrote it.” And boy, that was one tough class.
But you see the difference. I was so disappointed to learn after a couple years, Sellers didn’t teach at the University of Tulsa very long after I took his class. I still consider myself very privileged to have taken a course under Sellers—I wish I remembered his first name. But the University of Tulsa, commonly called TU, they fired him. They let him go. I was told the reason was they were trying to increase their rankings. They wanted more people to have PhDs, and he only had a Master’s degree, so they let him go! And it’s like, “You WHAT?!” They had a criteria: PhD / no PhD. No PhD? Sayonara! Best teacher I ever had in my whole life, and I have three degrees.
But see, when I teach and I’m thinking about Sellers, I’m thinking about this morning the phrase came to me: making the impossible plausible. So many religions begin by telling you what you are, and I’m here to tell you there’s a new beginning where you begin to understand you are no longer limited to your past—not your past preachers, teachers, parents, not even your past life. And you can begin to do things that you thought were impossible.
And you have a precedent! And Jesus even said in John 14:12, “If you believe in me, you will do all the things I do and greater. All the works I do.” Don’t let anybody tell you that doesn’t pertain to you, little girl, little boy, old man, old woman! How do I know this? Because in March of 2003, I began to write the first-person words that gave me the instructions to recreate this, to go where no man has gone, to become a race of light people who begin to experience—experience, experience!—being glorified, experiencing the glorification, experiencing the resurrection BEFORE you die.
And at one point there’s somewhere in that book some people call a Bible, it speaks about defeating your last enemy. Your last enemy! Before what? Your last enemy before you enter your promised land? Your last enemy before you become glorified? Before you become Rocket Man! All of this is a process where you begin to learn from the creator that you are the creator of you. And the creator communicates telepathically, because your eyes limit you to what you can see, and the little visible energy spectrum is very tiny.
As you pick up your pen—a phrase that I have mentioned to you hundreds of times—where you begin to be at the table of one in the School of One. The School of One what? The School of One Mind. The school where you begin to be taught by the invisible. You begin to experience feelings where it’s not like a school where you’re just trying to master the material and regurgitate it for an exam. This is the transmission of transformation! A new phrase hot off the wire, Oral used to say. Hot off the wire! This is the transmission of transformation, where you begin to create a new you, where you, where you, where you, my friend, where you begin to create the invisible you! Will you please create the invisible you? And if you will, while you’re creating the invisible you, learning in all this process, invisible you will be creating in you *it*, so that the invisible and the visible become one. The same one. The same one! The same one, not separate. And that separation will never occur again!
That separation does not occur, it does not exist even now! Except as we have created that separation. And what does Christianity tell you the first thing? That God is God, God is male, God is on the throne, God made you, you’re not God, you need a Messiah, you need a soon-coming King, you’re separate, your righteousness is as filthy rags, and you women are made from the rib of man, and on and on and on. Hogwash!
You are a creator! And you have the opportunity to create! Rocket Man, Wonder Woman, Superman, Jesus…
In the process of writing, when you begin to communicate with unconditional love, if you are willing to be taught, you’ll learn things. And if you’re not willing to be taught them, they will not be taught to you. Just like the idea of God the Father, Father being a man, Father being a male, God the Father, God, God being a male orientation—if you’re not open to a new idea about that, if you’re not open to more information, you will not learn it. You are creating you as your creation. So if you want to believe that, you can continue to believe that, and because you are the creator of you, you will justify it, you will self-corroborate it. Just like circular reasoning. You’re the creator, so you’ll create that certainty within you! That certainty, and then you’ll seek refuge in the emotions that seem to verify that and give you solace.
I’m asking you to walk the Emmaus Road now. I’m asking you to begin to experience not just knowing *about* God or *about* the creator or *about* what you are, but to create you anew.
I’ve read this. By the way, if you haven’t subscribed to this channel, please do so. I invite you to, anyway. The School of One on YouTube, and my website, meonics.one. It’s not there for me, it’s there for YOU! I know what it says, I’ve been through it. Those words came through my pen, those words came through my mouth, those words were typed, a whole lot of them by me, where I had a little microcassette and a foot pedal, and I typed them out word by word. Over 3,000 conversations where you can begin to learn about the feminine divine. You can begin to learn that nobody can limit you. And if you really want to, you can begin to learn through the things you begin to speak and write, so that… You see, when you begin to speak and write what I’m talking about, something happens in your brain. There’s a new recognition of a consciousness that loves you unconditionally. Always has, always will.
My friend, this day you are being invited to the head of the table! The place of honor! Where you realize you are equal. Equal with what? Equal with each other? Equal with God. You’ve never been separate, but Christianity taught we were separate, and so many religions teach our limitations and try to put us in our place and tell us, “Oh, repeat this mantra 123 times and, you know, you’ll feel better.”
This is not just a spiritual process. This is the transmission of transformation, where you begin to see, feel, think, realize, and experience being the creator you are, so that you begin to resurrect you, so that you’re not limited to one planet. You continue creation.
My name is Grace Cottingham, and I love you.
Who are we? Why are we here? We’re not here to bow down before the golden calf.
